How long do architectural drawings take?

Architectural drawings typically take 2–6 weeks, depending on whether a measured survey is needed, the complexity of the design and the number of revisions.

Which drawings do I need?

It depends on the stage you have reached: planning drawings for an application, Building Regulations drawings for technical approval, construction drawings for pricing and building, and a measured survey where accurate existing plans are needed. We confirm which stages apply and quote only for those.

Do you carry out a measured survey?

Yes. Where required, we measure the property and prepare the existing drawings that form the base for your design.

Can you submit the planning application for me?

Yes. Planning applications can be handled as part of our service. The application is prepared and submitted by our appointed architect or specialist planning adviser, with Innovate Home Solutions coordinating the process.

Do you coordinate structural engineers?

Yes. We have structural engineers we regularly work with, as well as an established Party Wall surveyor. Where your project needs them, we arrange and coordinate their involvement.
